Wings for Life World Run

The Wings for Life World Run is a global running event with a unique format: there is no traditional finish line. Instead, participants are pursued by a “Catcher Car” that starts 30 minutes after the race begins, gradually increasing its speed until it overtakes all runners. This format allows individuals of all abilities to participate, whether they choose to run, walk, or roll, and regardless of their location. The event supports spinal cord research, with 100% of entry fees donated to the cause.
This year’s run takes place on Sunday, May 4, 2025, at 11:00 AM local time. Participants can join from anywhere using the Wings for Life World Run App, or attend organized App Run Events in various cities. In the United States, App Run Events are scheduled in cities like Dallas, Minneapolis, and Chicago.
